The American Civil War is the most studied war in the history of the United States of America but even though it is the most studied, there are many aspects of the war that is still misunderstood about this turmulous time in American history. If only one percent of the population in the south owned slaves then what drove the other ninety-nine percent of the population to send their sons, brothers, husbands, and fathers to war and to possibly die? Perhaps the war was more than just what you were taught, and maybe you will finally have the chance to set the record straight.

Reenacting the American Civil War is becoming a popular experience with Americans today. The ages of reenacters ranges from babies to elderly folks who come out in order to educate the public on life during the 1860's. At Reenactments, you can see civilians and soldiers, rifles and cannons, and it is an experience that you will never forget.
